The Rev. Randall L. Golter introduces himself as the first executive director, Office of International Mission, for The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod following his installation on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012. Golter is former president of the LCMS Rocky Mountain District, where he served the maximum three terms (2003-12). He was a parish pastor from 1985 to 2003, and served congregations including Trinity Lutheran Church, Wheatland, Wyo.; Grace Lutheran Church, Albuquerque, N.M.; and Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Highlands Ranch, Colo. In his new position, Golter oversees all staff, programs, projects and activities of the LCMS’ international ministries. “Now I’m here to jump on the moving wagon of the Lutheran church in terms of spreading the Word around the world through all our missionaries, through the regional directors, through all the seminaries planted around the world, to train up men to be the proclaimers of the Christ in their context,” he says in the video. “I see it as a tremendous opportunity.”
